Returns Policy
Valvoline has a 30-day return policy on damaged or incorrect products.
Valvoline stands behind its products. If the product you ordered from Valvoline.com arrives damaged, or is incorrect based on your order, and it has been 30 days or less since the delivery date, you may return the product to Valvoline for either a refund or an exchange. Valvoline cannot accept returns of product delivered to you more than 30 days prior to returning it to Valvoline. Please note that our 30-day Returns Policy applies only to products purchased directly from The Valvoline Store at shop.valvolineglobal.com. All products purchased from a third party are subject to the return policy at that point of purchase.

*Please note, you will be reimbursed for shipping costs only if Valvoline made a shipping error or if the product was defective upon arrival.
Valvoline maintains a database of consumer activity created for authorizing returns. Valvoline does not sell the information it receives through this process.
Valvoline further reserves the right to limit returns made, for whatever reason and regardless of whether you have a receipt.
Return shipments must be postmarked within thirty days of delivery of the product from shop.valvolineglobal.com. We will inspect your return and issue you a full refund of the original purchase price for the returned product, less the amount of any [damaged or] missing items, and, where applicable, return shipping and handling fees. Such refund will be credited to the original method of payment. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed by Valvoline. Please allow up to fourteen days following Valvoline’s receipt of the returned product for your refund to be processed.
RETURN POLICY EXCEPTIONS
- Notwithstanding the above, Valvoline cannot accept returns of online purchases postmarked after 30 days of the delivery date.
- Valvoline cannot accept online returns of product purchased in person at a Valvoline Instant Oil Change® location. Online returns are only for purchases made through The Valvoline Store at shop.valvolineglobal.com.
- Opened and/or used products cannot be returned.
- Gift cards cannot be returned.
- Products noted as nonreturnable cannot be returned.
