Valvoline™ CVT fluid is designed for today's technologically advanced variable transmissions. It is formulated with full-synthetic, premium base oils, long-life friction modifiers, unique anti-wear additives and shear stable viscosity modifiers that help prevent oil film breakdown. "Jeep Patriot cvt. I did a transmission oil change on my 2008 Jeep Patriot 10,000 miles ago and it’s working great. My cvt had whining sound and after the oil change it went away.
